Emirates Skywards relaunches ‘Mile-A-Minute’ offer for Dubai winter visitors
By Dubai Currents Staff2 min read
Emirates Skywards, the loyalty programme shared by Emirates and flydubai, has revived its ‘Mile-A-Minute’ promotion, granting members one Skywards Mile for each minute they spend in Dubai, capped at 7,200 bonus Miles.
The limited-time offer, first launched in 2021, aligns with Dubai’s winter season of festivals, events and outdoor activities. It allows travellers to earn bonus Miles on top of those accumulated through eligible Emirates and flydubai tickets, across all cabin classes and fare types.
Earning structure and eligibility
The 7,200-Mile cap corresponds to 120 hours, or five days, in Dubai. Members who stay longer still receive the maximum, while shorter city breaks and stopovers earn Miles for the actual time spent in the city.
The offer is open to Emirates Skywards members who reside outside the UAE. To qualify, members must register by 5 November 2026 via the Emirates and flydubai websites or app, and book an eligible return flight originating outside the UAE between 21 October and 5 November 2026.
Travel to Dubai must occur between 21 October and 13 December 2026, with a minimum stay of 24 hours and a maximum of 30 days. Bonus Miles are calculated from scheduled arrival and departure times and credited automatically after the stay. Travellers who are not yet members can join Skywards for free and register before the booking deadline.
Additional earning opportunities
Visitors can also collect Miles through Skywards partners in Dubai. Eligible hotel stays at Atlantis The Palm earn Miles. Through Arabian Adventures, members can earn or spend Miles on selected desert safaris and sightseeing tours. Purchases at Dubai Mall also earn Miles.
Through the Skywards Everyday app, members can save up to five payment cards and earn Miles at hundreds of participating brands across the UAE, spanning dining, shopping, wellness and leisure.
Skywards Miles can be redeemed for flights and upgrades on Emirates and flydubai, hotel stays and exclusive experiences via Skywards Exclusives. Members can also use Cash + Miles to reduce the cost of a flight or to travel on the Skywards Rail network in Europe.
