New glass ledges at The View Palm Jumeirah let visitors step into the sky; tickets from Dh115

Visitors to Dubai can now step beyond the observation deck at The View Palm Jumeirah and stand on glass ledges that extend into open air above the island. The attraction, operated by Nakheel, has introduced The Ledge at The View, a new experience that places guests directly over the Palm.
Eight ledges with two perspectives
The installation consists of eight glass ledges, each projecting 1.5 metres beyond the viewing platform. Four ledges face the fronds and crescent of Palm Jumeirah against the Arabian Gulf, while the remaining four look toward Dubai’s skyline. Visitors can gaze at the horizon or look straight down through the transparent floor beneath their feet.
The outlook changes throughout the day, shifting from bright blue skies to golden light at sunset and a glittering cityscape after dark. The ledges also provide a spot for visitors to pose and capture a memorable photograph.
Five years since opening
The launch coincides with the fifth anniversary of The View Palm Jumeirah, which first opened in 2021. Since then, the attraction has welcomed millions of guests from 130 countries. When it debuted, it was billed as the highest point on Palm Jumeirah, at 240 metres. It occupies the top of the Palm Tower, developed by Nakheel and connected to Nakheel Mall.

The Ledge at The View is open now and is included in general admission. Tickets are available at www.theviewpalm.ae, starting from Dh115 for adults and Dh80 for children.
