Deyaar profit rises 27% to Dh541.5 million as developer delivers over 2,100 homes

Deyaar Development has posted a 27% rise in profit before tax to Dh541.5 million for the first nine months of 2026, driven by ongoing property handovers and improved profit margins despite a slower pace of revenue growth.

The profit before tax climbed from Dh425.7 million in the same period a year earlier, while revenue grew 5% to Dh1.52 billion, up from Dh1.45 billion. With earnings expanding faster than revenue, the company’s profit before tax margin widened to 35.6% from 29.4%. Deyaar attributed the margin improvement to efficient project execution and disciplined cost management.

Strong Third-Quarter Performance

In the third quarter alone, profit before tax increased 29% to Dh205.4 million, compared with Dh159.1 million in the third quarter of 2025.

The developer has handed over more than 2,100 residential units across its Dubai communities since the start of 2026, turning its sales pipeline into completed homes and boosting financial performance with clearer visibility of future revenue.

CEO on Delivery and Growth

Saeed Mohammed Al Qatami, Deyaar’s chief executive, said the company’s results are grounded in project completion. “Deyaar’s performance in the first nine months of 2026 is built on delivery,” he said, adding that a steady flow of handovers has converted buyer commitments into finished homes and transformed the sales pipeline into realised value.

Al Qatami pointed to Dubai’s long-term economic and urban development plans—specifically the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan—as supportive factors for the company’s growth strategy.

Outlook and Community Efforts

As it enters the final quarter of 2026, Deyaar said its project pipeline is progressing on schedule, with a continued focus on profitability and timely delivery. “Our ambition is for Deyaar to enter 2027 not simply larger, but stronger,” Al Qatami said. The company expects maturing projects to contribute further as construction and handovers continue.

Beyond property development, Deyaar continues to back community initiatives through partnerships with Al Jalila Foundation, which supports cancer care, and the Dubai Club for People of Determination, which promotes inclusion and empowerment. The company said these efforts are part of its long-term sustainability and community-development strategy.

Looking ahead, Deyaar remains committed to maintaining earnings quality, completing scheduled handovers, advancing construction across active projects, and balancing growth with financial discipline.
