Global Village launches Season 31 with drone show, choir and new attractions

Opening ceremony highlights

Global Village in Dubai will launch its 31st season on Wednesday, 14 October, with a drone show featuring more than 600 unmanned aircraft lighting the sky at 8 p.m., accompanied by a choir performance that will greet visitors at the gates.

The opening ceremony also includes the Parade of the World, a procession of drums and performers representing cultures from around the globe, and the traditional confetti shower at the Gate of the World.

Visitors can enjoy stage performances from various countries starting at 7:20 p.m. on the first day.

The announcement was published by KT on 13 October 2026 at 8:32 p.m. and updated at 9:10 p.m.

Readers can stay updated via KT’s WhatsApp channel.

Operating hours and season details

After the opening day, Global Village will be open to the public from 4 p.m. to midnight on Sundays through Wednesdays, and until 1 a.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays.

The entertainment destination will offer more than 3,000 shopping outlets when it opens at 6 p.m. on the opening Wednesday.

This season will feature over 40,000 shows, two new pavilions and a brand‑new roller coaster.

New attractions and pavilions

There will be 29 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures.

The Sri Lankan pavilion, which formed part of the Bangladesh pavilion last season, will now operate as a stand‑alone venue.

The Russia pavilion will expand to include Azerbaijan.

The Syria and Kuwait pavilions are returning with updated facades.

A new roller coaster named Tokyo Rush will be introduced later in the season, offering sharp turns, high‑speed sections and a thrilling loop for adrenaline seekers.

VIP packs availability

Ardent fans can still purchase the Mega Gold and Mega Silver VIP packs, which bundle Global Village’s premium privileges with additional experiences through Dubai Parks and Resorts seasonal passes or park tickets.

These packs are sold exclusively online at coca‑cola‑arena.com and can also be bought in person at dedicated DPR ticketing counters.

The park opened its brand‑new edition the previous week after being closed for more than six months.

From 14 October, the Mega VIP packs will be available at the Global Village Box Office and at selected Roxy Cinema locations.
