Visit Dubai Platform to Handle Tourist Visa Applications for Single and Multiple Entries
By Business & Property Desk1 min read
Tourists planning a trip to Dubai can now apply for single- and multiple-entry visas through the city’s official tourism website, Visit Dubai, following an announcement on Sunday, 1 November 2026.
Visa Service Integrated into Tourism Platform
The new service brings tourist visa applications onto the same digital platform that travellers use to explore attractions, book tickets, discover events and plan their holidays. A dedicated visa information section has already gone live on the Visit Dubai website, listing the different tourist visa categories, application fees, required documents and processing times.
Fees and Processing Times
According to the website, fees start at 200 dirhams for a 30-day single-entry tourist visa, excluding value-added tax. Applications are typically processed within three working days.
The initiative was announced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the United Arab Emirates, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai. It forms part of two measures designed to boost the emirate’s tourism sector.
Dubai Access Club for Repeat Visitors
The second measure is the Dubai Access Club, an invitation-only membership programme that will offer repeat visitors exclusive benefits and experiences across the city.
