KT Desert Drive 2026 Opens Ticket Sales for Dubai Debut

Event Details and Ticket Information

KT Desert Drive 2026 is now offering tickets for its inaugural Dubai edition, with the annual self-drive adventure set to return on 14 November at Bab Al Shams. Early-bird passes are available through Platinumlist, starting at Dh300.

What the Drive Involves

The eighth edition of the event will take place at Bab Al Shams Arena, where participants drive their own 4×4 vehicles along a marked desert route. Guided checkpoints line the course, and support crews are stationed along the way to assist drivers. Unlike a conventional desert safari, the experience puts the wheel in the hands of the participants themselves.

Who Can Participate

Drivers must bring a suitable 4×4; families are welcome, with tickets offered for children aged five to twelve. Children under five are not allowed to join the drive. The organisers note that the event is ideal for owners whose vehicles usually spend time on city streets, school runs or mall parking lots.

Support, Amenities and Partners

The 2026 edition is backed by the Emirates Motorsports Organization and Dubai Sports Council, with Dubai Offroaders serving as the official off-roading partner. Beyond the dunes, the programme includes food and refreshments, entertainment and various activities at Bab Al Shams, providing a full day out in the desert.
