Adil Faridi on Building Value-Driven Businesses Beyond Real Estate in Dubai

Adil Faridi, managing director and co‑founder of Faateh Group, describes how the firm has expanded beyond real estate to build a diversified business ecosystem in Dubai.

From Real Estate to Diversified Ecosystem

He says building a successful business is not about staying in one industry but recognising opportunities, understanding evolving market needs and creating complementary businesses. As managing director and co‑founder, he has guided Faateh Group’s shift from a real estate venture to a group with interests in property management, leasing, investment solutions, accommodation, interiors and related services.

At the centre of this growth is a straightforward philosophy: sustainable success comes from creating value at every stage of the customer and investor journey. He adds, “The next generation of business leaders will not be defined by how many businesses they own, but by how much value those businesses create together.”

Integrated Operating Model

Dubai’s business environment continues to offer opportunities for firms that adapt to changing customer expectations and more sophisticated investment requirements, Faridi notes. For him, the opportunity lies in moving past traditional models.

Instead of viewing real estate only through leasing and transactions, Faateh Group has built an integrated operating model linking property acquisition, management, asset enhancement and investment opportunities.

The group now reports managing more than 5,000 properties, serving over 50,000 tenants and overseeing more than 6.5 million square feet of leased and managed space. These figures illustrate the organisation’s scale and its focus on operational capabilities and long-term relationships.

He explains, “Growth is not simply about expanding your portfolio. It is about building the right infrastructure, the right partnerships and the right systems to sustain that growth.”

Leadership and Long-Term Value

While commercial performance matters, Faridi believes the real strength of an organisation lies in its ability to build trust, develop people and create lasting business relationships.

Leadership, he says, requires balancing ambition with accountability and recognising that sustainable organisations arise from consistent execution rather than expansion alone.

He adds, “Revenue can measure the size of a business, but the real measure of leadership is whether you are creating an organisation that can keep delivering value long after the next milestone is achieved.”

As Dubai evolves as a global hub for entrepreneurs, businesses and investors, Faridi sees potential for firms willing to rethink conventional approaches and offer integrated solutions.

For Faateh Group, the aim is to strengthen existing businesses, explore complementary growth avenues and develop a platform that delivers value across the real estate lifecycle.

For Faridi, the future of business is not about doing more of everything; it is about creating businesses that work better together. He suggests that this distinction separates a successful company from an enduring enterprise.
