Dubai companies turn to Emirates Courier Express for faster global delivery

Demand for faster cross‑border delivery

As consumers expect ever quicker and more reliable shipments, businesses based in Dubai are looking to integrated logistics solutions to reach overseas customers and stay competitive in worldwide markets.

Emirates Courier Express, the door‑to‑door service launched by Emirates SkyCargo, reports rising demand for rapid cross‑border fulfilment as firms seek to improve satisfaction and expand internationally without building their own logistics networks.

How Emirates Courier Express supports international expansion

According to Dennis Lister, Senior Vice President, Cargo Commercial Development at Emirates, delivery performance has become a critical factor in online purchasing decisions.

He said, “Rapid, reliable and transparent delivery is fundamental to building customer trust, reducing friction in the purchase journey and driving repeat business,” and added that the service combines Emirates’ global network with technology‑enabled tracking and customer support to help businesses grow internationally.

Examples from Squatwolf, Mayple Global and Magrabi Optical

Dubai‑based activewear brand Squatwolf, which sells across the GCC, Europe and Australia, noted that faster delivery times have improved the post‑purchase experience, an increasingly important measure of customer satisfaction in e‑commerce.

Jeethan George, Head of Operations at Squatwolf, stated, “For a global activewear brand, the post‑purchase experience has a lot of influence on how the customers ultimately perceive the product,” and added that since partnering with Emirates Courier Express the company has seen a meaningful reduction in customer complaints related to delivery and transit times, especially in key GCC markets.

Mayple Global, a Dubai‑based supply chain platform that integrates with Shopify, operates a central fulfilment hub in Dubai to enable brands to sell internationally from a single inventory pool.

Founder and CEO Ammar Moiz said, “An ambitious brand should be able to sell globally without having to build a separate supply chain in every market,” and noted that Mayple’s integration with Emirates Courier Express allows brands to connect fulfilment, delivery and customer support through a single platform.

Magrabi Optical, one of the region’s largest eyewear retailers, relies on the service to move premium products across GCC markets where speed and reliability are important parts of the customer experience.

Habib Afzal, Group Logistics Head for the MENA region at Magrabi Optical, remarked, “Emirates Courier Express’ speed, reliability and exceptional service have made Emirates SkyCargo our number one logistics partner for moving our specialised luxury products to our stores and customers across the region.”

Logistics as a competitive differentiator

The examples show that logistics and delivery capabilities are becoming a key differentiator for businesses aiming to grow beyond their home markets, particularly as consumers increasingly expect seamless international shopping experiences.
