The National Centre of Meteorology issued a weather outlook on Tuesday 13 October 2026 at 5:13 PM, stating that the UAE will see fair to partly cloudy conditions on Wednesday 14 October with a chance of convective cloud formation and rainfall in some areas by the afternoon.
Forecast Overview
Clouds may develop over the eastern and western parts of the country, potentially bringing rain to certain areas. Residents should also expect humid conditions overnight and into Thursday morning in coastal and inland zones, which raises the likelihood of fog or mist formation.
Temperature Outlook
The highest temperatures are forecast to reach 38 °C in both Dubai and Sharjah, while Abu Dhabi could see a peak of 39 °C. Overnight lows are expected to fall to 27 °C in Sharjah, 29 °C in Dubai and 30 °C in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
Wind, Dust and Sea Conditions
Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the southeast to the northeast at speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, but may strengthen to up to 40 km/h as clouds develop, possibly causing blowing dust in some localities. The sea is expected to remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea. The NCM also warned of occasional heavy showers, thunder and gusty winds across the UAE during the week, with rainfall intensity varying and some areas potentially experiencing stronger winds and thunder as the clouds form.
